Tosin has performed, recorded, and toured around the world with various groups and artists including Taj Mahal, Baba Maal, Fatoumata Diawara, Spyro Gyra, Julie Dexter, Femi Kuti, and many others. In 2009, 2010, and 2011, Tosin was nominated for the Wamma Awards for &#8220;best world music instrumentalist&#8221; by the Washington Area Music Association. In 2014, he also received the Individual Artist Award for World Music Compositions from the Maryland State Arts Council.
