Chris Coleman
started playing drums at the age of 2, receiving awards and accolades during his teenage years, as well as gigs with Marvin Winans, Edwin Hawkins, and Vanessa Bell Armstrong. A graduate with honors from the Drummer's Collective, Chris won the 2001 Guitar Center Drum-Off. Since then he has traveled the world performing with artists like Beck, Chaka Khan, Rachelle Ferrell, Bishop Eddie Long, William Murphy Ministries, and Israel and New Breed. As a world-class instructor, Chris has shared his knowledge and experiences at AIM and performed on the stages of some of the biggest drumming events including Drumeo Festival, Modern Drummer Festival, and PASIC.
